Use shared lists for shopping and household tasks.

Create a List

Admin users can create new lists from the Lists toolbar using the plus button. The creation sheet currently asks for:

• List name
• List type, such as Plain List, Store List, Travel / Packing, Errands, or Event / Party
• Optional Store / Location from Apple Maps search for Store Lists
• Department Style for Store Lists, either Auto or a manual store style such as Groceries, Warehouse Club, Big-Box Store, or Hardware & Home Improvement

Store selection is optional. Department grouping works without it, but selecting the real store is the preferred context when Berg needs to organize a Store List for a specific shopping trip. Plain Lists do not use departments.

Open and Use a List

Tap any list row to open its detail screen. Inside a list, unchecked items are shown first and checked items are moved lower.

Add Items

At the bottom of a list, use the add bar to enter a new item name and an optional quantity.

1. Open the target list.
2. Enter the item name.
3. Optionally enter a quantity.
4. Tap Add.

Berg also records who added each item when that user information is available.

Filter by Store Tag

If items arrive with store tags from other Berg workflows, the list detail screen shows horizontal filter chips so you can narrow the view to one tag or return to the All view.

Group Items

Admins can open a list's actions menu and group items by the list's category style. Store Lists use departments such as Produce, Dairy, Pantry, Household, Pharmacy, Paint, Tools, Paper Goods, or Other. Travel / Packing, Errands, and Event / Party lists use their own practical categories.

Permissions

• Admins can create and delete whole lists.
• Household members can add items to existing lists.
• Items can be checked and unchecked directly from the list detail screen.
